Lobby and staff were nice. However, our room had crumbs all over the floor when we got in, the tub wasn't draining hardly at all (3 inches of water in the tub for a 5 minute shower), and there were damages on just about everything in the unit. Sink fixture super wobbly, big chunks of the tub surface missing, dresser had massive scratches all over the front and the drawers were damaged, etc. Just not the level of quality I'd expect from a doubletree. We pre-arranged a feather free room but we were assigned a room with all feather pillows, and blanket. Room also had a broken drawer. Others in our group reported similar issues with the hotel not reviewing preferences. Food was not very good. Burgers were raw for some and other rare. Staff generally helpful, but the stay was not what we expected from a DoubleTree which is why the 2 star rating.
Nothing special Just basics
I travel for a living and over the past 7 years I have never had a better upgrade. While i know that no one can expect an upgrade I felt so blessed and honored that they lifted my experience with such a special room. Thanks and GREAT service. Also, I booked this hotel because the outdoor heated pool and had a great early spring swim!
Outdoor heated pool was awesome today.
