I've stayed at this hotel many times over the last couple years for work. I'm a longtime Honors member and have always preferred Doubletree, but im done with this particular one. There are certain expectations that come with a Doubletree and rarely are they met with this location. During my multiple stays here I've experienced a total of 1 time where the shower drained properly and I wasn't standing in 4" of water. Only went here for a wedding . Didn't stay at the hotel, the food(catered by the hotel) was average at best. The ponderosa was beautiful with great views of the city.
It's got nice rooms, very nice beds, and was clean for the most part. Behind the nightstand was actually a little nasty, it didn't look like it was cleaned for awhile. Other than that though I enjoyed my stay. Personally thought it was a bit overpriced for the way you basically have to pay for everything from the water in the room, to a good wifi connection, and watching any channels that aren't your local basic cable channels.
