Really nice customer service. Rooms are very clean. Had problems with the room before cause when I did it online it said two rooms but when I got to the hotel it showed One but the girl in the lobby helped us switch it with no problem. Definitely recommend coming here.
Double tree I made a reservation in May for a king with a balcony for July 4th to July 6th when I arrive I told them I wanted my balcony on the side and they told me the 2nd and 3rd floors are being renovating which they are working on the 2nd and 3rd floor only the 1st floor is available. Double tree why no one call me from the hotel to tell me that the rooms are being renovating because im coming from out of town for a family reunion to get there to be told that.
I have not even arrived and this hotel is a one star. Been a Diamond Member for 12 years just to have this hotel restrict me when I try to check in to the first floor and wants to charge me $5 for an upper floor room. What a complete slap in the face to Diamond members. Why in the world would I ever stay here again. And this was the first of what will be many trips to Gainesville. Their $5 is costing them far more as they will never get my business again. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE A GOLD OR DIAMOND MEMBER.
