The service is also excellent. The crab stuffed mushrooms is a must-try, and of course all their steaks are cooked to perfection.

Recommendedprobably one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. I had the 16 oz ribeye. my wife had the filet. we drove in from Amarillo. we definitely will be back.
We just had a most divine meal this past Saturday night celebrating my husband's birthday with our daughter and sons-in-law. The steaks melted in our mouths, the deserts were beyond amazing, the service is top-notch, the drinks were perfect, and the owner should be extremely proud of her business. There's nothing like it in Lubbock, absolutely nothing. Double Nickel Steak House is the absolute best!!!!!!!!!!

Steak wasn’t any good. I had a filet it was very grisly. Would not recommend the steakhouse to anyone.

We had dinner here last valentine and it was excellent. So much food and was perfectly prepared. Great date night
I was extremely disappointed. This was our 8th time there and only time we didn’t leave satisfied. We went to celebrate our anniversary. The first thing I wasn’t happy with was my soggy cheese stick that was sitting on top of cream corn. The second was the cheese over the spinach was hard and not melted. The waitress was at another table talking about dogs for a good 10 minutes before she came to ask if everything was ok, Also did not ask to refill our tea until we were done with our meal. Went for Our valentines dinner .. my husband ordered a steak and it was cold on the inside ... when we told our waiter about it .. he questioned him 3 times about how he wanted his steak (medium with a hot pink center ) like everyone else’s !! Made it seem like he didn’t Know what he was talking about .The portion of our sides where horrible ... but the sides were delicious ... my steak was good ... I finished my plate before my husband even got to get his food back ...still paid full price ... not somewhere we will go again... read more
