The service is also excellent. The crab stuffed mushrooms is a must-try, and of course all their steaks are cooked to perfection.

Amazing food, atmosphere and staff. Without a doubt the finest dining experience in Lubbock! I had the ribeye and I can honestly say it was the best one I've had in at least 5 years!
Always loved the food here, steaks have always been done right and service is great.
This was probably the best meal I have ever eaten. I can't wait for another special occasion for a reason to go back. It is a higher priced restaurant but worth every penny. I highly suggest everyone give it a try, you'll be hooked

Wonderful dinner for my mother's 80th birthday. Great service, nice wine selection and awesome food. Definitely be back next time I cruise in from South Padre Island
So we just tried to go to Double Nickel and walked in with my 7 month old. They very rudely told us that infants were not allowed in the dining room! I find this to be completely ridiculous!! For one thing we live in Lubbock, TX not NYC! And my baby is always good at restaurants and has been to Las Brisas several times and has done great! Which by the way is where I, and everyone I know will go from now on for a good steak! They have never had a problem with her!
Based on our last visit, this is the best steak you can get in Lubbock, TX. If I was basing this review on our previous visit, some months ago, this review would read differently. It seems as if whatever challenges they were having those months ago have been remedied. No better ribeye can be found in Lubbock at any price.
