Double Horn was a town in central Texas that was formed in 1855. The town was founded at the headspring of Double Horn Creek and grew to a population of around 50 in 1884, complete with a school, churches, and a post office. Around 1900 the population began to decline until nearly all traces of the community were gone in the mid-1900's. So how did the town get the name of Double Horn? The wait was 45 minutes when they said 20. Just to be seated. We waited over an hour for the food. Someone in our party had cold food. Absolutely terrible service and would not go back! Not to mention my six year old nephew got to see his first bar fight!!!

Beer was mediocre; part of our party elected to drink water instead. Service was very slow and much of our food was luke warm or not prepared properly. We saw many people come in and wait a while for a table then leave. We won’t be back and recommend others look for an alternate option.
When we finally received correct food, it was under cooked. Food not made with ingredients listed on menu. Waitress off in another world....anywhere but there.
Food was good. We had the salmon and it was prepared well. Beer was great. IPA was delish!! The service was fair. The server never came back to see if we were satisfied. We really needed butter for the mashed and wanted ranch for the okra. But no one ever came by so we could ask for it. We would recommend it but the service could have been better. Especially since it was slow.

Food today was just barely ok. Used to be amazing. Beer is always good. Won't be back to eat as the food has gone way downhill. Server (we sat at the bar) never asked us how our meal was. I would have been happier with Whataburger. Sad.
Slow service, no greeter/host, had to wait for everything. Bathroom did not have soap, only 1 roll of to for 2 stalls to share and no one to tell at the host area. Was not a busy time when we went.
