Double Horn was a town in central Texas that was formed in 1855. The town was founded at the headspring of Double Horn Creek and grew to a population of around 50 in 1884, complete with a school, churches, and a post office. Around 1900 the population began to decline until nearly all traces of the community were gone in the mid-1900's. So how did the town get the name of Double Horn? Food was extremely bland and took 45 minutes for two Cobb salads and fish
Don’t waste your time or money! Waited at the entrance to be seated for over 5 min before someone acknowledged us to be seated. The young lady seating us was put out because ‘it wasn’t her job’. When ordering, several items on the menu were not available. We both ordered a burger, medium, and the burgers came out well done. Place has potential but the place needs cleaning, employees need to be trained on customer service, and hire someone who can cook!

Nice craft brewery... It seems like the kitchen staff didn’t all show up today so food delivery was a wee bit slow... Servers were very nice, they warned us in advance of the delay... We’ll be going back...
obviously no management that cares. Servers have not been trained. Food was mediocre, but at Austin prices. Sign on door "server wanted". Should say Management wanted. " Craft" beer not up to the task. I was able to order food and eat my food while waiting on whoever is in charge to switch kegs so I could enjoy a cold beer. I canceled it . BTW kitchen is slow.
We have gone to Double Horn Brewing several times. Each time due to poor and slow service we were not going back. This time we had a group of 10 people from out of town who requested to go there. There were only a couple more people there when we arrived at 6:00. We did not get our food until 7:30. Then the waitress mixed up the orders. Also was slow in returning with credit cards. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE LAST TIME WE WILL EAT AT DOUBLE HORN BREWING COMPANY.
Poor service. Food was good. Not good value. They were out of almost everything on the menu. The items we ordered were supposed to be on cornbread but were on regular bread.
Really bad service. Staff failed manager or management failed staff .
