RecommendedThis is hands down one of my favorite places to eat. I have never had anything I did not like. The staff is courteous and friendly and the food is always fresh. I am especially fond of the dry wok chicken and the ants climbing a tree. We love May!
We’ve been eating here for about 10 years and have never had a bad experience. It’s always our “go-to” for date night. Love the dim sum and lettuce wraps!! Plus the owners and staff are amazing!

The only REAL Chinese Restaurant in Wilmington. Dishes like Sichuan Eggplant, Dry Wok Chicken, Stir Fired Rice Cake and other authentic dishes not found anywhere else in town. Consistent and delightful!
Today the owner or perhaps manager of the Ogden location treated me to a nice conversation about vegan food in her home country of China. She was very knowledgeable about the vegan options on their menu and talked to me about the training her staff receives on dietary choices and restrictions. The meal we had was delicious, and she had several recommendations for dishes we should try next time. We are so happy that Double Happiness opened a second location closer to our neck of the woods, and will definitely be back!

I live in Fort Wayne, IN. and think about this great place and their awesome food all the time! The only Chinese restaurant we ate at back home went out of business. So the only time we eat Chinese food is when we come to Wilmington to visit our grown children. They are who brought us here our 1st visit. Delicious
