I've been going to Double D's since it opened. Lately, service and food quality has went way downhill. I would say for the last 4 months or so. Did a manager quit or get fired recently? I had a salad the other day that was all brown lettuce. It was disgusting. If I was a cook or server and seriously cared, I would have NEVER served it (what ever happened to the old adage; "if I wouldn't eat that, I wouldn't serve that"??) Double D's is the greatest find since moving to Michigan! We have been going almost every week the wings are absolutely phenomenal and only $.50 apiece which is a great bargain! We have also tried the calzones the burgers, and the seafood. Everything has been above our expectations!! !!!!Not to mention, which doesn't hurt, our waitress Lisa, who always seems to know what we want before we even want it! I went and ordered a shot of Don Julio 1942 and when they gave me my shot it was not 1942 instead they put 1800 in the 1942 bottle and tried to sell it as don Julio 1942.....shouldn't do that to customers especially when your paying top price for quality tequila.

Started going here last summer when we were in town (we are truckers and not home much so picky about where we spend our time). So far, everything we've ever eaten has been unique and better than what you expect to see. The mac and cheese is the ultimate I've had in a restaurant. Everything is homemade and its always a cool to see what the newest soup or special will be and what the twist on it will be. The staff is always friendly and remembers you and what you drink. Staff very nice but food not good, broccoli soup was mush and tasted like it had been cooking a very long time. Beef stroganoff sandwich was so salty i think a bottle of salt may have been dropped into it. Same with the fries very very salty. My husbands burger had no seasoning just a chicken breast put on a bun with lettuce and tomatoes and everything fried tasted like fish. Been hanging around there for a couple of months now, the staff and the customers that I have met are cool people. The food on the menu is great. My only wish would be if they had better keno numbers😡 Stop by and say hi to Sara and Lisa great bartenders

Their food was so delicious, my hubby is like the most picky eater, but he was raving about his meal. He was also glad because he could watch the Pistons and the MNF game (and Kevin can wait) at the same time. Staff is super friendly and the space is cool. Way more than a summer patio bar!

The place is always clean and the staff and the food are amazing. This is a place that makes you feel like you are at home with your family and friends just go there and see for yourself.
