Nice little place. I've been to Rubi's (In Great Barrington) many times and they take just as long to make coffee... I'm really confused by the negative reviewers here?? Especially, since so many people go there every day and have no problems. I'm also surprised there are so few reviews despite the place always being packed! Slow service with attitude. The staff here is outright rude and obnoxious. I was standing there waiting for the owner and staff for a good minute while they were gossiping and bad mouthing someone. How hard is it to pour a cup of coffee? Out of coffee as well,is that possible? They offered me Americano in place of it and charged me for the Americano price. You get what you pay for. Starbucks has nothing on this place.
Caffeinated Space Shot. A pleasant enough little place, with the expected modish accoutrements germaine to the genre: Unconversational denizens poke at their laptops and keep their eyes down; earthy-crunchy barristas concoct your fave bevie to order, making you realize at payment that you are truly paying by the hour for the precious brew; the fresh baked goods are good, but at a premium. The coffee is quite good. Friendly folks.
Meh.. This place was fun before it was also a restaurant. Now it's too busy and too cramped and I don't go there anymore.
Good Coffee, slow service. There were at least three people working there, and no more than 10 customers. My latte took a little too long. Actually the time wasn't horrendous, but I watched it being made by someone who clearly thought she had better things to do than make my expensive coffee. So I guess that was more of an attitude thing. But then, my friends grilled cheese sandwich took 20 minutes....really? So, they could work on the service a bit, but the atmosphere is nice, and the coffee's good.
