I was referred to her by my insurance... most say they take beacon but don’t take very many patients...right away she asked did I call other therapist cause she wouldn’t be available til the end of the month ... which I said was okay ... we never talked about what was the issues I was having nor did she ask about my availability.... she was rude and obvious she didn’t want me has a patient ... she also said I should call other therapist on the list .... that’s so funny to me ... i have Kaiser and they have authorized me to g... read more

Sharon Dotemoto is an extraordinary therapist and a warm, genuine and compassionate person. She is both deeply insightful and truly caring. Sharon isn't the sort of therapist who's obsessed with the bureaucratic formalities: she loves her work and her work is helping her clients to love their life, or at least to be more at peace with it and with themselves.
