Kathy H Been here several times in the past 3 years and liked it, but recently went with a large group in May and found it awful!! The service was unprofessional, the drinks (margaritas) were bad, several items on the menu were no longer available and this info came with indifference. 3 diners hated their meals and left them, 3 felt it was mediocre food. The atmosphere is still charming, but that is the only good comment I can make.
Help this dude I haven't eaten here but I own a Mexican restaurant, just for your information in case you haven't noticed FOOD PRICES HAVE GONE UP AS MUCH AS 20-40% in the last year or so. Plus every delivery truck adds a gas distribution fee anywhere from $5-$25 PER delivery. We average 12-15 delivery's per week. At $5 each that is $75 per month and $3600 per year, on top of a 30% increase. Maybe you should stay HOME and cook.
Our favorite This is our FAVORITE place to eat! The food is AWESOME and the atmosphere is unmatched. The drinks are strong and the chips are plentiful. What more could you ask for?! 100% the best place to eat in Raleigh. Wish it was a little bigger --- maybe wheelchair accessible. But, have nothing but love for this place!!!
why so arogant? I see why you wished to stay anonymous about what restaurant you own...you were completely rude. Why the foolish behavior? The patron had legitimate observations. My friends and family do stay home a lot more these days. Why pay money to be treated in a apathetic manner?
nice food! a little bit expensive compared to other restaurants, but they really have very delicious foods!!! try to go with a coupon, which is easily available in NCSU.
True to Mexico I am reading all of these reviews for Dos Taquitos and am just wondering if only the disgruntled people write reviews. I have been eating at Dos Taquitos for eight years and have NEVER had a bad experience with the food. it is a bit higher priced but I have never left feeling hungry. Maybe the people slamming the food would rather go somewhere cheap and generic like el rodeo? I LOVE DOS TAQUITOS.
Love this place. This is not just another Mexican restaurant!!! I have been going for years!!! Every person who I take with , falls in LOOOOOVVVVEEE. The food is out of this world !!! The top shelf Margs. are the best... Of course it is more!! I mean get real!!! Do you think that your average EL Son, Dos Etc.would use top shelf Taq. are fresh fruit? Icing on my enchiladas! We went here to try a different Mexican than we usually go to. The atmosphere was fun and the service was good. The food is another story, the margaritas were supposed to be made with fresh lime juice, they were not, and $7 each. A Big Disappointment This used to be my favorite place to get good Mexican food at a reasonable price several years ago. I was surprised and not in a good way when I made a recent visit with my family.The place looked the same, but the menu shrunk by about half in terms of menu items, and the prices had doubled.
