Great restaraunt moved to brand-new building Dos Amigos just opened a brand-new building this past summer; it's great! The food is about the same, but with an expanded menu including more seafood and American-style cuisine in addition to the expected Mexican fare. Prices are reasonable (try the $6 large cheese dip and be amazed at how big it really is), but you can add up a dinner bill pretty quickly if you add things on, especially off the a la carte menu. Favoritas We've been going to this restaurant since it opened in another location. If you like a place make sure you patronize it. They have the fastest friendliest wait staff . The food is excellent here. The prices are reasonable and the lunch menu is a really good value.

This might be one of the best overall spots in Hickory. The staff are amazing. Always great service. Always a great atmosphere. Always fresh food. AND.... The best birthday dinner I can remember having...and I'm 46! So much fun.
