Since we began as a fruit stand in 1948, Dorothy Lane Market has been locally owned and operated, and we have had lifelong relationships with local farmers. Most of our local products come from within an hour's drive away, and at maximum distance leaving the farm at breakfast and arriving to us by lunch time.

I drive 30 minutes to shop at Dorothy Lane. I live in a community where the grocery is a nightmare with maskless hoaxers. I was told that DLM shoppers take the mask mandate seriously(they do), and I feel SO much safer shopping there than at Kroger Troy. Now that I am retired, I will continue to drive to DLM for my weekly shopping, even after the pandemic is behind us. The bakary and all the choices
I love DLM but I was extremely disappointed this morning when trying to shop at the Oakwood store to see a number of customers and 2 employees wearing masks below their noses. Also, one customer at the bakery had no mask on and another customer wore a mask with a hole cut out over her nose and mouth. Felt so unsafe that I left and don’t feel comfortable coming back if safety rules aren’t enforced. The area between the bakery and the coffee shop was way too crowded to allow for distancing of any kind. Please do better.
DLM offer one of the best fresh food ever... my kid sister loved shopping over there on daily basis😯
