Expensive but fun I live very close to this store, but don't often shop there unless I'm looking for something specific. They carry a large variety of foodstuffs, including fresh sushi and fantastic produce, but it's more expensivve than other stores, like Kroger's or Trader Joe's. That said, they have an amazing bakery, and their sushi is wonderful. They carry more foreign and imported foods than the usual grocery store, and the staff is wonderful. If they don't have it, they will get it Dorothy Lane Market is a very well managed store that has an excellent selection of fresh meats, deli and bakery items and fresh produce. They have unique, homemade foods that are healthy and fresh. DLM is a fun place to shop.
Condescending Employees On Superbowl Sunday, I visited the Springboro store. I was in a rush as my husband had just been released from the hospital and my daughter was staying with him while I picked up some special items for him to enjoy while watching the game. While checking out, the customer service person asked me if I had validated my coupons for the week. I told her no. Amazing Market With Amazing Employees! I have never received anything but the best at Dorothy Lane Market. I believe the one on Far Hills will always be my favorite though. The customer service is wonderful and the choice and variety of food is outstanding!
Bakery is WONDERFUL I have three small children who LOVE birthday cakes. I ONLY order my cakes from Dorothy Lane Market. The staff does a fantastic job creating the vision I have for my childs party theme. The Cakes are always unique and taste wonderful! When I have tried other places I have always been disappointed. LOVE THEM!!
Inattentive, rude employees I went to the Settlers Walk store in Springboro on the recommendation of a relative. My first experience was having to wait nearly well over 5 minutes at the bakery counter to be helped. 2 employees behind the counter even looked at me, and went back to what they were doing. The trip didn't improve any when I went to the meat counter. I was helped by someone who seemed annoyed by the fact that I needed assistance. best food store Dorothy Lane Market is quite a find. You will not be disappointed if you go. They have a huge selection of many different kinds of foods, both regular foods and health foods. This is the best place to go if you are having company over for dinner and you really want to impress them with a fancy meal. Only bad thing is their prices are a bit high.
the very best Dorothy Lane Market is a small grocer in the Dayton, OH area. They carry everything a normal grocery store carries but also specializes in premium meats, produce and baked goods. They have an excellent health and beauty section. Their bakery carries chocolates to ooey gooey cakes to the best brownies on the planet.
