Amazing Market With Amazing Employees! I have never received anything but the best at Dorothy Lane Market. I believe the one on Far Hills will always be my favorite though. The customer service is wonderful and the choice and variety of food is outstanding!
the very best Dorothy Lane Market is a small grocer in the Dayton, OH area. They carry everything a normal grocery store carries but also specializes in premium meats, produce and baked goods. They have an excellent health and beauty section. Their bakery carries chocolates to ooey gooey cakes to the best brownies on the planet. The Best Grocery Ever! I grew up around the corner from this market and have shopped there for 30 years. It is the best grocery in Ohio. The gourmet, organic and vegetarian selections are incredible. Wines are outstanding and so is produce. Prices lean towards the high end, but nothing like the high prices at Wild Oats in Columbus. it is well worht spending a few extra dollars just to get personailzed service every time you shop there! It is definitely the store that accommodates.
Bakery is WONDERFUL I have three small children who LOVE birthday cakes. I ONLY order my cakes from Dorothy Lane Market. The staff does a fantastic job creating the vision I have for my childs party theme. The Cakes are always unique and taste wonderful! When I have tried other places I have always been disappointed. LOVE THEM!!
Dorothy Lane Market Of all the places I have ever shopped for groceries, this store has, by far, the best service in all departments. If you can't find an item, they will call one of their other 2 stores, or order it for you. They still carry your groceries out to the car for you! Prices are a bit higher than some chains, but you definitely get fantastic service!
Condescending Employees On Superbowl Sunday, I visited the Springboro store. I was in a rush as my husband had just been released from the hospital and my daughter was staying with him while I picked up some special items for him to enjoy while watching the game. While checking out, the customer service person asked me if I had validated my coupons for the week. I told her no. An oldie but a goody Dorothy Lane Market is a store that I try to frequent as often as possible. It's hard for them to compete with chains like Meijers, and Krogers. What sets them apart are the good prices, and wonderful fresh meat and foods. We've never had a problem with any item we've purchased from Dorothy Lane Market and I'd recommend them to anyone for that special service and wonderful specialty foods.

This is the best place to go if you are having company over for dinner and you really want to impress them with a fancy meal. Only bad thing is their prices are a bit high.
Inattentive, rude employees I went to the Settlers Walk store in Springboro on the recommendation of a relative. My first experience was having to wait nearly well over 5 minutes at the bakery counter to be helped. 2 employees behind the counter even looked at me, and went back to what they were doing. The trip didn't improve any when I went to the meat counter. I was helped by someone who seemed annoyed by the fact that I needed assistance.
