My mother, who was going in for her first visit at my insistence to check for signs of dementia, couldn’t find the place. She told me that she called for help and finally someone came out to find her. But they wouldn’t let her go through with her appointment. So I am back to square one on getting my mom help from the other side of the country on her memory issues. Thanks a lot guys. You could have at least rescheduled her. Now she tells me that you were mean to her.
We were told when we first started working with IH Belmar and Dr Kapros' office that it took 6 months to have a first appointment because we were new patients. My wife and I appreciated the appointments we had when we did get in. Fast forward a year, and when we call to schedule, the earliest non-life threatening appointment is 3 months to understand bloodwork, and recent events at a specialist. I did not feel heard or taken seriously with my healthcare needs at this practice. Recently, I switched health care insurance (started a new job) and needed a new prescription of my medication, but I never received a response from my PCP and when I called the practice someone told me that they put in a high priority request for my medication, but come to find out later through the pharmacy that nothing was ever sent through. I'm very fond of Dr Kapros but it took your phlebotomist and Dr Kapros MA 4 trys to get 5 tubes of blood. That is not acceptable. The young man who use to work for Dr Kapros could always draw my blood in one try, it never hurt. The primary reason I go to a PC is to have my thyroid checked which involves having blood drawn. I will start looking for a new PC if you can't draw my blood. I more chance!
