If you live in Santa Cruz County, DO NOT USE THIS "SERVICE"!!!! I have had too many issues with them to go into all of them here, but today was the kicker. I didn't have time to pack my lunch this morning before work, so I thought I would order from Doorbell Dining. I ordered my lunch only to be called almost 1 hour after placing the order to be told they couldn't reach the driver so they couldn't deliver my lunch that was estimated to be here in the next 5 minutes. $40 for a cheeseburger and a sandwich (from Rosines) should include plasticware and a packet of ketchup. I won't use this service or restaurant.again.
Steinbeck Real Estate & Steinbeck Mortgage just enjoyed a great luncheon that Doorbell Dining delivered...a delicious, warm & plentiful meal.
Finally, a solution to deliver some tasty options that aren't just pizza. This isn't a true answer to DoorDash or any of the other bay area delivery services, but it will do.
They just aren't a good service. Since it is the only delivery service in my area I am at their mercy. I have had the same thing happen over 5 times. I order $100 of food and am quoted 1-1.5 hrs for delivery. Ok not great but I understand....2 hours later, no food, no nothing, I refresh the page and it is stagnant. I call am told, 'oh sorry we're backed up, it's going to be another 30-45 min, best we can do is knock $15 off.' Um, ok, 2.5 - 3 hours for food is completely insane.
