February 20, 2020: I told Steve that I wanted to replace my garage door, perhaps with a wooden one. He pointed out the high cost and ongoing maintenance problems of the wood door, came to inspect my existing door, and forthrightly said that all I needed were new panels. He had the panels delivered the next day, and Robbie came to install them, doing a thorough job. Steve replaced the original door on our place 15 years ago. In the years since, we've had him out for this problem or that, and each time he's responded promptly, done excellent work, and always a fair price. Each time he works on the door, he goes out of his way to do a few extra little things - lube, adjust, whatever - to keep things working smoothly. It's as if he considers the door to be a personal responsibility. A throwback to a bygone day of craftsmanship!
After contacting several garage door service companies, I decided to have Steve to do my garage repair work. I am very happy that I made a right decision.
