The staff were so friendly and made my daughter feel welcomed and heard. They are all very good with children and it was a cute environment. My daughter had her hair washed, and got to choose the scents. She also had 3 inches cut off her hair, which is what we asked for. The stylist then braided her hair and added glitter per my daughters request. Will be returning. :)
Do not recommend this place for babies first haircuts. The stylist who cut our baby hair was not having it that day. She did not care about how I wanted my baby’s cut to be and did what she wanted. I really thought they would be more professional and know how to handle babies a little bit more but I was wrong. If your baby fuss they won’t do anything beyond a simple trim to your baby. It was supposed to be a good experience and they ruined it for all of us. Will not come back.
We’ve been to Doolitlez probably 2 dozen times over the years and overall I’d rate it a 4/5. We have not experienced any rudeness at all like other reviews suggest. Everyone has been very kind and welcoming. We have had at least 4 different hair stylists and 3 of the 4 have done a great job every time, taking their time and are very good with the kids. Took my son here a few times within the last 2 years the first time was great but ever since the staff seem inconvenienced by customers walking in or rushed through cuts putting in no effort or attention towards the kids. I went in tonight at 5:45 hoping for a possible walk in but was left ignored in the lobby for 5 minutes standing at the register with a girl behind it, finally I spoke up and said can we get fit in yet tonight and she just blatantly said no we are closed after the one haircut they had in process.
