Darn shame about the young lady who hustled after that group of 30-some folks from a local high school sports team and their parents and got shafted when they only left a $1 tip. Don't you have a policy of automatically adding the tip for large groups. Poor girl!
We stopped in by some chance by of a miracle. Looking for " Big Boy" We will be back best place in town great service great food they wènt above and beyond. Bought two shirts and they really stepped it up! Coffee was great!!! Thanks Don's of Traverse City. I am giving a Five but a five is just not enough a 10!!!
Good food. Love the atmosphere and service. It's like stepping back in time to happy days. You really can't go wrong at Don's Drive In.
I have been to Don's many times through the years. Couldn't get service tonight. Counted the waitress pass us 8 times and never even took our drink order. Not sure that I will go back after tonight. Usually have great service. I'm not sure what change was made but I don't think I like it.
Ordered food before people at next table even sat down. They already have their food and we can't even get a glass of water. Drove 45 minutes just to come here.
I have loved this place for years, it has great food, which never tastes like it has been made then waited for you to arrive, yet the wait from order to served is not incredibly long. Just really good "home made tasting" food.
