I'm new to the state and area. I combed through Google to find a trusted mechanic who could fix my air conditioner. To say it's been hot here in Las Vegas is an understatement. Don's had some really great reviews and is close to where I am staying. It was Labor Day weekend. They graciously offered to let me bring my 97 Cadillac Deville D'elegance in but didn't think they could look at it because they were closing early for the holiday. Paid 9.600 dollars to get my truck repaired. Got it back with a dent and 1 inch gash in my rear bumper, new front bumper installed with a 4 inch scratch and still pulls to the left really bad. If you have major damage like me take it to the dealer. DI auto is not prepared for jobs such as mine. PS. They won't fix anything that I mentioned above.
Be very careful with this shop! They called us to "program" a BMW and when we showed up they couldn't give us any information on why and what was replaced, we had to plug in ISTA-D (BMW's OEM Scan Tool) to find out what needed to be done and we informed them that two modules weren't programmed and coded (PMA & SWW) which they didn't know exactly why they were replaced and the only thing they said was "The scanner told us they were bad". beware I took my truck in for repairs and told them to fix all problens with my truck. I dropped it off and get a quote of $4300 to fix it the next day. I agreed to the repairs but never agreed to partial repairs. about a week and a half i get my truck back. within one hour of getting my truck back the check engine light comes on. I called the shop and they said it would go away. They attempted to throw the blame on the previous me hanic. I specifically told them i wanted all problens fixed. Don’s Di Auto Ripped me Off – Big Time! I took my RV in for shocks and they told me I needed $4500 worth of work done. The manager Paul called to verify that my shocks were shot and that they would replace them with the super- heavy duty- PREMIUM shocks I requested for $800 and change the spark plugs and oil change for a total of $1500. I agreed. He called me back an hour later and said that my front brakes and rotors were a mess. Only 1/10th left on the front brakes and my rotors were blue and warped.
