I have had a lot of knee surgery over the years. I am 75 years old. I had both knees replaced about 15 years ago. The knees are still working great. Dr. D;Onofrio is the best! He really cares about his patients.
I’ve had excellent care by Dr. D’Onofrio on 2 extensive surgeries. I will be having another one in the future for arthritis in my ankle. I believe I would trust him if I had to have heart surgery even though that’s not his forte!
My mother of 99 years fell and fractured her hip in July. As an NP who has worked in the field of gerontology most of my career I understand that so much can be done given her age, type of fracture and severity of osteoporosis. Dr. D’Onofrio has done 6 surgeries on me. All have been successful. While sometimes I would have like to see him a little more often for aftercare visits, he has a PA, Kevin, that is great too. And I would see him anytime
I received services from Dr. D’Onofrio for over 15 years. I can’t say enough about his caring and ensuring that you have the treatment that you need. His office staff also go above and beyond, are friendly, caring and professional. If you have issues with your knees, shoulder or hips, call Dr. D’Onofrio.
My hubby and I have seen Dr. D for varied reasons, like “tennis “ elbow, broken wrist , bad knees etc. He always gives 2-3 treatment options and lets us decide which way we want to handle it. Listens well. Only once was he a little impatient , but out of all visits since 2008, that’s terrific.
Dr D’Onofrio did a hip replacement on my mother. Something happened to her hiatal hernia during surgery and threw up day 2 after surgery and on. She ended up with hiatal hernia surgery and sepsis
He cares more about money then care! He should be shut down
Because of Mr D'Onofrio's lack of pier review I ended up with continued health issues. He failed to even look at my foot after I said my toes were curling. I sent a letter to his office without response. He will take your insurance and copays but he would not do the pier review for the MRI. I should have sued. Please don't be me.
