I LOVE Donna Bennett. She was by far the best doctor. She had compassion and listened to all my needs. I would recommend her to anyone.
I had Dr. Bennett with my first baby and I wasn’t super happy with my experience.. I was in labor for almost 24 hours and not once did she come in to check on me except to deliver me. The nurses had to keep calling her to tell her I was close to delivering and she just continued to see other patients at valley. We had to stop me from pushing multiple times which was super frustrating..
Dr Bennett was my delivering doctor for my first child. I had been in the hospital for 30 hours. She never came to examine me though she had the time. She instructed the nurses to have me push without ever seeing me herself. After hours of pushing she only came in to see me before her shift change and finally examined me and confirmed that my cervix was not cleared and I was not fully dilated and due to her negligence I then had to have an emergency c-section. I had my tubes removed by Dr Bennett. She listened to me, understood my reasons, didnt try to convince me i was wrong, and didnt treat me like i would change my mind later. I was 28 with no kids and i felt like she was on my side the entire time. she even made sure to call my insurance to figure out the proper coding so my insurance paid for the procedure. i have had traumatic experiences with OB/GYNs in the past, and she and her entire staff made sure i was comfortable and educated on everything thru the entire process. i c... read more
Needed surgery. She was excellent! Great bedside manner. Listened and answered all my questions. My recovery time was minimal. Dr Bennett is my favorite OB/Gym !
I was alone in my labor and delivery room by myself, my husband's car was broken down and she wanted to break my water for the first time. Well I'm in the room BY MYSELF and she's just standing there with her arms folded telling me that her lunch is in an hour so she wants to do it before. And this is my first pregnancy too so I was extra scared. She's frigid at best.
Dr. Bennett treated us like we were just another check on her list and was barely at our appointment for 5 minutes before she left. I will not go back to Valley if that means I might get her as a doctor again.
I called to set up a yearly appointment with Dr. Bennett, but I was told that I had to see a nurse practitioner as the yearly checkups were handled by the NP's. I indicated that I did not want to see a nurse practitioner, but told that was not a possibility.
