Since I moved away from Athens 7 years ago, I compare every other coffee shop to Donkey. None of them are nearly as great. I love the people and that delicious bean water so, so much.

If i could pick one thing to steal from Athens and have here in Cincinnati, it would be Donkey Coffee. I’ve never known a place like it, where everybody knows they belong and chances are good that a friend will be in the back room with a seat to spare for you.
This was a great stop on our trip to Athens. A definite must have while in town.
