First time in DC and so glad in finding this next to the hotel hubby and I stated for 3 nights after 2 nights from the downtown. Wow this absolutely delicious and unique donut shop..The service was prompt and efficient but the staff was not smiling and not enthusiastic. The location was clean and had great vibe highly recommended.

I am so glad that DONISIMA is expanding!! La Cosecha is a great place for it - there is a counter where you order and a few seats in the space. The donut itself was insane - somehow so light and fluffy without feeling greasy at all! There is some magic in the donuts. The guava and cheese was incredible - they cut the donut in half and fill it to ensure you get a lot of the flavor. I will be returning to try everything on the menu. It is $5 a donut but I think it’s worth it for the quality and the cool variety.
