Extremely large portions. Good service.
Take out order. We shared the beef curry and miso tonkotsu ramen. Sadly the worst ramen I’ve ever had. Chashu was very dry and burned, broth just tasted like pepper. Curry beef was super bland, very watery and the beef brisket was mostly gristle. Disappointed because we’d heard good things. Based on other reviews seemly like their take out seems to be uniformly bad.
Best value Japanese food in Edmonton, hands down! I don't say this lightly, but this has got to be the best bang for the buck restaurant in Edmonton that isn't fast food. a proper sit down spot serving genuinely good food at affordable prices. Portions: The donburi bowls run about $13, and the serving size is honestly humongous. You just don't see that kind of value these days. Like huge!
