It seems food as declined. I ordered the avocado shrimps and it was overly covered in sauce which I think was an attempt to hide the fact that they were only serving one shrimp sliced in 1/2. And they charged $18.95 for one shrimp. That is just absurd and I complained about it and was told they have big shrimp but they did remove charge from bill. I’m not exactly sure of your complaint. The avocado and shrimp dish has been served the same way for 33+ years and yours was the first complaint I’ve heard in my 20 years in management here. FYI...the shrimp we serve are 6 to a lb. 3 shrimp at almost any other place in town!Either way I did remove it from your bill completely even though you ate the entire dish you are now complaining about. This is my favorite place in Tampa. Guido and Gino are like my family. Kim is the best in the lounge. Dwight Champagne rocks the house. The food and atmosphere are the best. I have personally enjoyed this place for over 25 years!!! Thank you Gino!!!
From start to finish the experience we had at Donatello was top notch. The food is by far the best food in Tampa.
