I have been with Dr Tecca for a little over 20 years I find him to be very respectful office is very friendly and always seems to get to the problem Hi
I had Donald Tecca as my PCP for 3 years. During those 3 years I had 10 appointment scheduled with him (or I attempted to see him 10 times). Every single time I was transferred to a different Nurse/Doctor because he's either on a break or simply he wasn't able to see me. 3 years as my PCP and never saw him once. One of his Nurses "Shannon Davis" is worse than a google search. The only nurse I actually think is good is NP Mark Manning, the rest are subpar at best. Save your time and effort and choose someone else.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my elderly mother in to be seen and checked for influenza or pneumonia, she was pretty sick. Shannon (NP) is the one who saw us. Her bedside manner is awful, right away I knew that she just didn't even want to be there. Can you believe she listened to my 73 year old mother's lungs with a stethoscope on TOP of her clothing and jacket!? Mind you, we were there with concerns of her breathing and possible pneumonia. I was going to Dr. Tecca for a year with extreme gastric issues, I was vomiting constantly during my sophomore year of college, it was painful and persistent. Dr. Tecca took some basic samples but when I requested a referral to a gastroenterologist (referral was required by my insurance at the time) - HE REFUSED. His notes indicate he doesn’t think I need a specialist and that I should keep visiting his office for additional stool tests. Even after a year. He is a generalist!
