Not only is Dr. Somerville extremely knowledgeable but he is also very friendly, has a great sense of humour, very patient and an 'artist of teeth'. He is an "out of the box" thinker and doer! Even when he has to extract teeth, he goes about it very gently and ensures his patients aren't in any distress. His work is EXCEPTIONAL & every time I leave his office, I am comforted in knowing I'm in very capable hands. I'm a picky patient and Dr. Somerville has exceeded my expectations!!!! Naturally, I highly recommend him!!
Moved to toronto and had to find a new dentist. Met him while teaching snowboarding. Seemed friendly enough. The team in his office was patient and actually seemed to enjoy being there. He took the time to explain all my options and gave solid recommendations based on my lifestyle. It's nice to have someone who you can feel at home with and can trust - especially when it comes to my teeth. He's a true artist and has some of the most advanced technology hidden away in his cozy office.
Most amazing Dentist - I travel from out of town to go to him. His attention to detail and knowledge of procedures is phenomenal.
Dr Somerville is nothing short of amazing. He cares about his patients and always makes sure that they are treated well / are comfortable. Thank you for being the best !! Don't ever leave Toronto!

An excellent all-around dentist, literally on the cutting edge where implant technology is concerned, but very knowledgeable across the board. If he is sometimes a bit late, that actually reflects the amount of time he spends listening and counseling, as well as the usual emergency cases that come up from time to time. I recommend him without reservation.
ive been to so many dentist, and he is the best so far in my book..very articulate, helpful,informative & knowledgeable.
