Dr Unwin was rude and impatient to my 88 yr old mother. He did not seem concerned at all that her vision had dramatically decreased in short time and had spider web vision. He impatiently kept telling her to not blink when he was looking in her eyes. I will not take my elderly mother back to see him and would not recommend him to anyone I know.
They say they will call back and don’t. Dr Unwin said at my initial appointment that he would help me if or when my symptoms returned. He told me to call his office then his office staff said they’d talk to him and call me back but they never did.
Dr. Michael Jones has operated on me more times than any other surgeon, a total of 8 times. I can see and still drive because of him. I wish I could give him 10 stars. The best part is that Dr. Michael is user friendly. You can ask him anything, and I promise you that he knows the answer.
Dr. Jones has done both my cataracts and upper eyelids. He is an amazing physician. Cataract surgery was done before I knew he had started. Zero pain. His assistants were uber helpful and efficient.(Sam).
Rushed me out of the appointment. Not Friendly. Did not explain what he was doing. Staff was rude. I left my appointment upset.
I did a lot of research to find the best doctor for my eye surgery. I drove over 100 miles to meet with Dr. Michael Jones. After going thru various eye tests with his clinical staff I sat down and visited with Dr Jones. He explained my condition and suggested a procedure to correct my vision. Dr. Jones answered all my questions. I was able to schedule the surgery during the next month and I have been more than satisfied with the results. I recommend Dr. Michael Jones as one of the best eye surgeons in Central Illinois.
He threw a fit when my daughter's eyes started to water during an exam. He threw down the prism and left the room. I called Quantum Vision Center to complain and they blew me off.
I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. I have never been treated or talked to so poorly by a medical professional in all my life. Did not explain or comfort me with what he was doing. I was treated for damage that occurred to my lasik lens. Had I not been treated well at the lasik center in St. Louis when I originally got my lasik Dr. Unwin could have traumatized me to the point of never allowing anyone near my eyes. I plan to report my treatment by him to every avenue I possibly can.
Overcompensated on my lasik surgery then after six months did an adjustment while I had a mild cataract. During the first surgery, he had to be told twice that he was hitting my nose. After the adjustment, eyes became worse. Luckily another MD did the cataract surgery but was unable to adjust due to the two surgeries prior being messed up.
