Dr. Condit did not take the time to answer all my questions before surgery. He told me to discuss questions and concerns with his nurse. He performed surgery at the base of my right thumb. The surgery left my right thumb & hand with chronic pain and stiffness. Also, my right wrist is painful and restricted due to the tendon transfer the doctor did to replace the trapezium joint which he removed. It has been over 2 yrs. and the complications from the surgery have not resided.
Dr. Confit performed his specialty procedure to repair my thumb. Not only did his rope procedure not work but it left me with a horrible scar. Long story short Doctor Peter Jebson had to fix the botched surgery,and did a beautiful job! I would recommend you choose Dr. Peter Jebson before Doctor Condit.
Dr. Condit was great. However he did not perform my surgery. A resident performed my surgery. This resident did not have a good bedside manner. When trying to schedule a postop appointment I found out that I had to see Dr. Condit who only sees patients on Monday and Wednesday. The employee on the phone that I talked with was very friendly and promised to call me the next day to help me see Dr. Condit. She never called. I am very disappointed.
My son's old sports injury had left him with scar tissue on a critical nerve in his wrist. After Condit's surgery he has full use of his wrist and now is a landscape contractor using his wrist every day without issues.
Without hesitation, we would return to Dr. Condit and refer any family or friend.
