Dr. Downer did wonders for my vision! The team for my surgery was fantastic! Highly recommend!
I can't express the happiness and relief that I have now that Dr. Downer is my opthalmologist. I felt like a child seeing things for the first time after years of problems with my eye sight. I only wish that I could have seen him 10+ years ago. The beginning of my problems started at about 40 years old when I wasn't able to read and write the small letters and numbers I used to without glasses. So Far I am very happy with my eyes after having lens put in, however I have to have Laser treatment done since I have a film covering my eyes from the first surgery which I have read is normal. Dr. Downer told me I won't have to pay anything. Which is awesome. I can't wait to have that done and be able to see the outcome. He was very nice and the staff is awesome. I love having him as my eye doctor! They get you in and out so you are not sitting around for hours. Best eye doctor around!!!!!
Dr. Downer completed Catarac surgery on both eyes, 1 month apart. R eye, machine was used. Operation flawless. L eye, he manual removed/replaced cataract. Once completed, I questioned both doctors present why the machine was not used. They responded it was used, I was asleep. This is a complete, fabricated falsehood. I was wide awake. Dr. Downer stated the same. I'm highly educated, patients must remain awake. Shocking 3 doctors would lie. Question is why? I've had numerous problems with the left eye.
