I had a right hip replacement one year ago on July 5th. The bone to bone femur to hip socket was creating enough pain to interfere with sleep and day activities. The replacement with a titanium femur and ceramic socket went well insofar as both legs are the same length. Also, sleepless nights are no longer an issue and normal day to day house activities are now doable without associated pain. Dr Lao did my hip replacement surgery in August 2024. In 10 days I was easily walking without a walker or anything at all. Never had pain, just discomfort, and only spent one night at the hospital. Went home, on my own. Within 2 1/2 months I had been cleared to ride my horse. I am 74 years old. I recommend Dr. Lao unconditionally. He helped me get back to physical activity, which means a lot to me.
