We very recently purchased a 2017 Ford F-150 truck from the Athens branch of Don Wood. A few weeks after purchasing the truck, we noticed that heavy smoke began coming out of the exhaust. We kept an eye on it and it was becoming more persistent. We have since taken the truck to a Ford dealer as well as a second mechanic in Belpre, Ohio. My husband and I purchased an 2008 Ford F150 From this company on 4/17/2020! The vehicle after tax title and interest was $8,891. We test drove the truck sign the papers and drove it home! Once we got it home we smelt something hot but assumed we were being paranoid because it was a used vehicle! BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!! THIS DEALERSHIP SCAMMED ME ON THE PURCHASE OF A 2012 CHEVY EQUINOX AND CONCEALED MAJOR ENGINE ISSUES IN ORDER TO GET THE SALE. Purchased a used 2006 Dodge Truck from Don Wood Jeep/Dodge. When test driving the truck, which was a manual transmission, I discovered the emergency brake didn't work. I mentioned that it would need fixed before I would make an offer on the truck. They said if I wanted to pay for the e- brakes to be fixed, they would have to tack on another $695 to the price.
