First time there, didn't know what to expect. Went on a date I picked the place. Everything went great from dinner to the entertainment. Was pleasantly surprised how much fun it was. Will definitely go again.
Don the Beachcomber's is the best all around music venue in Orange County. They are the only venue that regularly books roots music acts in the OC. If you like Outlaw Country, alt-country, blues or swing---this is the place to be. Seating is up-close and personal. Food is head and shoulders above the Coach House and unlike the Coach House dinner purchase isn't mandatory for the good seats. Best venue in Orange County area for roots music. We have seen many shows there and have never been disappointed with the sound or the food. Very convenient location and really easy parking. Looking forward to our next visit.

Presenting world-class music in a tiki-themed restaurant is an odd fit, but a great one at Don the Beachcomber. Most of the best shows I've seen in OC in recent years have been there.
