Don Juans is the best in tenino, the owner is awesome, If he ever suggests that you order something instead of what you wanted to... Listen to the man! My carnitas wet burrito with the green sauce that he pimped out and spiced up was incredible! Just listen to the man he won't lead you wrong!
We found this place listed online when looking for a restaurant while staying at Great Wolf Lodge, celebrating my son's birthday. I can't say enough good things about the food, the service, and the ambience. The staff was wonderful, and accommodating, and we had a great celebration. We'll definitely be back. If you're in the Tenino area, you've got to try out this gem of a place!

We were traveling home from Seattle and trying to find some place to eat. After driving down a route that took us away from the freeway and thru the woods we found this amazing place! Everything we ordered was so delicious. Fresh, flavorful, fantastic. Even the drinks were delicious and tasted like heaven. The flan was the best I've EVER eaten! I would highly recommended stopping here, even if it is off the path your going.

Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant! What I love about eating here is that I never feel that after effect from Mexican food! I always feel really good and energized -not bloated and tired from eating a lot of artificial Foods ( this is what happens after majority of Mexican food🙄). The food is very fresh and very flavorful. The chips are amazing, none like it in the whole state, they are thick and have a fresh corn taste! Don Juans is HANDS DOWN THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD in WA! Coming from LA I grew up with authentic Mexican food and so there is no other place I have eaten that comes close to hitting the mark. The service is always warm and welcoming and you will never leave hungry! The Margarita's are AMAZING and the Don Juan's salad has this dressing that I've never tasted anywhere else (I think they make it there). Really disappointed. Went to Don Juan’s in Tenino tonight, at 7:50pm. Walked in and were told they were closed. There were no postings as to why it was closed, or that they were intending to close and hour earlier than posted times. All we got from the employees was a “Sorry”. Why would we even want to come back?
