Clark sold the business to one of his long time waiters that had been working with him since the restaurant opened. In 2003, Luis Hermosillo bought the business and partnered along with his nephew Carlos Garcia to manage the place. Don Jose Mexican Restaurant is a great place with friendly staff I love this place and especially their cheese enchiladas. The margaritas there are magnificant. The staff is always very friendly and have been there a long time.
Neighborhood Friendly Have been here several times and never dissatisfied. It seems as if many of the customers are regulars and the staff knows them. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. They have free desert on Sat. and the margaritas are pretty good too. Nice place to spend a nice quiet evening with friends or family.
