Great Mexican food – I eat there a lot. Tostada's are great, fried burritto is excellent. Milanesa is one to get as well. The Cadillac's pack a whollop and taste great! It is a small place and you need to call at least 2 hours in advance for reservations, so there is usually a wait unless you eat at the bar (which I mostly do).
If Don Cuco was a man I'd marry him! I love Don Cuco's. It so great. Margaritas are good, then servers are sweet, and the food is yummy. The only problem is that it gets PACKED! Not quite sure if they take reservations but it's worth calling and asking. The ambiance is really great (they've got the whole Spanish patio look going on inside), parking can be a pain but it's all worth it!
Some of the Best Mexican Food Anywhere – Living in Southern California with Mexico our neighbor to the south, we obviously have a large hispanic population here. These may also be some of the reasons why there are many, many restaurants catering to the lovers of Mexican cuisine. The best... – Don Cuco's has the absolute best tortilla soup I've ever had. It's worth it just to go, have the free chips and salsa (and they are very quick to bring you more) and a bowl of this soup. Highly reccomended!
The best mexican food in the valley! – I love Don Cuco. The atmosphere is fun, but the food is amazing. Just had dinner again there last night.! Take out is good too when you don't want to wait. The staff is friendly, and service is quick. Really one of my favorites...can't say enough about how good!
Totally unremarkable food – Watered down drinks and a melted mix of refried beans and cheese with the smallest sliver of avocado. Do yourself a favor and eat across the street.
Don Cuco - doin' it well – Don Cuco's is awesome. For the reviewers who disagree, you'll just have to enjoy a life of mediocrity across the street at that chain restaurant, El Torito...enjoy your picture menu. For those with elevated tastes, you're in for a treat. Keep in mind, this is a real place, so you may have to wait, you may be inconvenienced, but just grab a drink from the bar and chill til your table's ready. Then enjoy some of the best margarita's and mexican food in L.A.
