Unreasonable people with rental agreements that is out to get the renter. We ended up paying a few grand over some fine prints. I’d be better off paying the difference and getting a better apartment elsewhere.
This building has mold in its airways and it is the reason why an ugly smell has persisted throughout our stay, no matter what we did. We had to use air cleaners to make sure our health would not be impaired. Additionally we were charged utility fees for a whole last month we did not stay in the apartment even though we had already given the keys back! I recommend living at Domus if and only if you're looking for a safe and clean apartment near the Penn campus. The location is convenient, and Colby Rosenberg is an outstanding leasing manager—always responsive, kind, and helpful. That said, I did experience some issues with the management office that I feel prospective tenants should be aware of. First, my initial unit had a persistent backflow issue in the shower. I lived at Domus for about 3 years and had a really great experience. The apartment was spacious and clean, the building was very nice, the leasing agents (specifically Colby and Kyle) were always very responsive and kind. In addition, the maintenance service and staff were excellent and things were always fixed within 24 hours. I highly recommend this building!
I highly recommend living here. From the moment we initially contacted the property for available units until today (over two years later), the leasing manager Colby Rosenberg has been extremely courteous and helpful.
