Moved my daughter into a flea ridden apartment.
I always paid my bills on time, respected the staff and other tenants, attended community events, spoke highly of this place to my friends, and respected the use of all amenities. After 15 months of living at The Acoma, the way that the management team handled my security deposit issue is nothing short of absolutely abysmal. Towson Promenade is run by UDR. UDR has use toxic customer practices. they constantly raise rent by unacceptable levels. that make you continually move into other units because they will only give optional rent rates to "new" leases. so every 2 years you have to move into a new unit because the rent has gone up to much already. in 9 years, I had to live in 5 different units because of rent hikes. oh and there was a giant flood caused by their faulty pipes and at first they didn't even want to relocate us. it took them 8 mont... read more
I lived in the building for four years and it certainly has the best staff of concierges and handyman. They are all very friendly and helpful. However, the building management is terrible. They lured me into renewing the lease for another two years with the false pretense that they would make repairs to the apartment (including panting the walls) and it never materialized. Be ready for a ton of move out expenses, crappy living conditions, and little to no communication unless they find a discrepancy where they can charge you out the rear for. 10/10 would not recommend Edit: also my motorcycle got stolen from the parking lot which is apperantly not an uncommon thing here
Dangerous, violent drug dealers live here who stalk female residents. Do not live here. Do not let your children live here. Management refuses to take action.
