Awful administration, insecure facilities

I being living here for the past 2 years 1/2 the last half its being bad no security at all, more police or firefighters coming at night, lots of college kids making partys late, smoking outside not caring about families that live here. We barely can rest and of course afraid of our kids 🤦🏽‍♀️.

We recommend keeping valuables out of sight. Noise concerns are best handled at the time they occur. Please report any noise concerns to the leasing office so we can address it. the place is a dump. everyone is lazy. the corporation doesn't want to pay maintenance men so they send the residents do it yourself maintenance videos. my neighbor cannot sleep in either of his 2 bedrooms because they are completely covered in mold. so he pays 1700 a month for a 2 bedroom and his bed is in his living room. in my apartment nothing works. there is mold everywhere. instead of fixing a leak in the ceiling, they just paint over it to get rid of the mold that is still there. your air conditioner and heat can't wo... read more

We had so much fun today at the dog park. I think we like to go there just like our dogs. We live close to the lake and sometimes we take them down there. They enjoy walking and getting in the water. If I had to do it all over again, I'd definitely move somewhere else. I moved back to SD from Dallas and after living in a UDR property there for 3-4 years I was familiar with he quality of product and service that they typically provide so I figured the move would be smooth and decided to lease here almost right away. We ask our residents to report any non-residents inside the community to the courtesy patrol or local police if after normal business hours. If you would have asked me a year ago if you should live here I would say 100% but it’s gone downhill from drug bust to sex trafficking to pool parties at 2am. Makes me sad that once was a wonderful community to what it’s become.

Don’t fill out an application here!! If you get denied they will take your $250 “first month deposit fee” and not return it for 30 days!!! If they even do!! Ridiculous!! Also the way that they do business here is very sketchy. They don’t help you at their office and this complex is way over priced for what you get.

I would not recommend this place at all. The office is unprofessional and never get back to you when u leave a voicemail. They do not treat you like a resident here or make u feel comfortable. There are many incidents that have happened that Sophie and Trey just sweap under the rug. There use to be great staff here like will and chandler but seems the level of luxury has decreased. I’m not one to write reviews for places but I want people who are considering the Acoma to know that this place is far from worth your money and anything you want to be living in. I lived at the Acoma for 1.5 years and have NEVER lived in a place with worse management in my life. Management and ownership changed 3 times, which I get can be out of control when bought out but man, when I thought management couldn’t be just as bad/if not worse, Greystar proved me wrong.
