A beautiful accepting community. People are gracious and caring. The Instruments of Hope Garden on the southwest side of the Dominican center is a lovely garden to walk , meditate, and be at peace. It is also a sculpture garden with work by Mic Carlson.
This is truly holy ground. Always enjoy my time at Marywood. Left with a great PEACE.
Stop by the art gallery and see the the show by the Rivertown Artists Guild . Over the last 12 months they painted the Prairie Garen in different seasons.
I am extremely impressed by the Grand Rapids Dominican community's commitment to social justice, inclusion, and equity, and their use of contemplative prayer and meditation as a means of finding one's role in working for justice and peace.
