Thank you Sandy LaFave
A place of true wisdom and compassion. I would recommend people of all spiritual backgrounds to visit the Dominican Center (I am a practicing Buddhist fyi.) Likewise, the Walk of St. Francis is a wonderful addition to the already beautiful grounds. Go enjoy a walk or event there!
Most comforting, welcoming place to worship
Can’t recommend this experience more highly!
The Sisters are so welcoming. I felt home my first liturgy, and feel more so every day.
This morning I read the new Fall 2017 issue of Mission and Ministry, where I found the mission statement of Dominican Center at Marywood: "To foster the transformation and growth of persons, communities, and organizations through prayer, learning, and collaboration in an inclusive, hospitable environment." 25 years ago as program director of DCM, I remember being closely involved in wordsmithing this mission statement. It still excites me, and I am pleased it has endured. Congratulations, DCM!
