I read reviews online and chose this store to get watch band adjusted and dealt with some of the nicest people I have met all year. Fast. Reasonable. Pro. Funny. Kind.
They did an amazing job setting my loose stones into earrings. No complaints there. However, they “took the liberty” (their words) of having them appraised, without asking me, which cost me an additional $100. As I already have an appraisal on the stones, I really didn’t want another one. They really should ask first before doing anything that adds extra coats.
I had a beautiful old Universal Geneve watch from the '40s that was my father's. The winding pin had fallen out, and I took it in to Alex. He fixed it very quickly, and it's working again perfectly. The price was very reasonable. And we had a great chat about watches!
