Buyer beware! Be very,very aware! The sales people at Dollar Rental Car will LIE to you to get you to pay much more than you should be paying. (And if you make your rental via AAA, they are no help in getting things resolved. I spent time and effort putting my information together, only to have them tell me that there wasn’t anything that they could do to help.) I rented from them on August 1 and was given a quote of $210. I returned the car with less than 100 miles used and the gas tank was a little under 3/4 full. I meant to fill the car up on the way in and forgot. I realized that I had forgotten when I pulled up and I asked the woman if I would be charged extra and she said no that I would only be charged for the gas. I repeated what she said to reiterate and she agreed. So I left the car again with a little under 3/4 full. I then received a bill for $288.67. There is no reason ... read more

I booked a car, and cancelled the reservation a week before I was to pick it up. I called three times to make sure and each person said I was good to go. Some of the representatives ADMIT I cancelled the reservation and then they transfer me and those people tell me I didn’t. They are trying to say I was a “no show” and they can keep my money. Of course I was a no show, I cancelled my damn reservation!! I NEVER picked up a car! They are stealing my money! Don’t rent a car with these people. Disgusting

I stood in line for an hour and a half to pick up a car I had reserved on-line. I drove through a toll booth accidentally because it was on the opposite side of the road from all the other toll booths. I was in the wrong lane and couldn't get over. Dollar sent me a bill for the $1 toll but added a $15 administrative charge. Then they hit my credit card for the total. I couldn't believe Dollar couldn't absorb the dollar!!! I will never use them again.

Rental and price were great. Their lost and found is horrible. There is no way to get to anyone and they did not find my item, if they even looked.

this is the worst run company- I have hertz gold and do not need to jump through hoops -- trying to add my express ID- since we are traveling with an elderly person- However, because I booked an pre -paid NO ONE at dollar is able to add my express #-- they keep transfering me, but they are unable to complete this task. They gave me the # for orlando desk, however, it doesnt go to Orlando-- it transfers to the Philippines. HELP
