I would give her a zero rating if I could. She did not review my medical history, exam me or request any type of labwork. I met with her on consultation after my symptoms became worse. I have had the classic symptoms of PCOS since puberty and was diagnosed when I was 20 years old. When I "consulted" with Dr. Dokras, she assumed by one symptom that I no longer "had" PCOS. Be aware while picking your fertility doctor. Dr. Docras made wrong decision for our 2 Nd ivf cycle and to cover up she offered next cycle free which they havn’t even covered fully. And keeping financial part aside becoz of her carelessness and not involving in patients case 100% we have suffered a lot. It’s very hard to communicate with Dr. Docras. I have two beautiful, perfect children all thanks to Dr Dokras. She is so warm, patient and absolutely loved having her as my doctor. Highly recommend, especially if you have PCOS.
I saw Dr. Dokras 3 times for PCOS. She never once physically examined me, but instead dispensed medication. Her irresponsible care lead to a life changing event for myself. Do not see this physician.
My partner and I went to Dr. Dokras for fertility treatment. Unfortunately, we had a shockingly terrible experience with her. She provided us with objectively incorrect information medical that almost led us to making a very bad life altering decision. We are fortunate that after one consult with her, we decided to go to another fertility center where we had a great experience that led to us having a beautiful family.
Avoid this doctor at all costs!!! She misdiagnosed some test results and resulted in a delay of appropriate treatment for months. Instead, I went down a path of treatment that would never have worked - costing me time and money as well as causing severe emotional distress!
