The pancakes were fantastic, a bit smaller in portions, but I guess that's what your gonna get now these days. I liked the atmosphere, busy though, which means it's popular. I like the area.

Hummus seemed watered down in comparison to what it should be everywhere in comparison, then received dips for main foods ordered and they also seemed watered down to compared to what the texture should be like. Pizza I had was mediocre, nothing that stood out in flavour in comparison to any normal pizza anyone can make. Cell phone service was terrible there, I asked for wifi password, she told me what it was, it didn’t work, she said she’d go see if something else was wrong about it and let me know and never came back.

Dogpatch Bistro Pub at 10158 90 Street is the Riverdale room I want after a valley walk. I sat down for the Patch Benny at weekend brunch, then came back for the chicken stew bread bowl at lunch, and both tasted like someone cooked, not assembled. Scratch-made plates, a dog-friendly patio, and a laid-back pub that actually belongs to this river neighbourhood. I raise a glass here when I want Edmonton to feel small.
