The DWR is the only place I take my dogs. They have taken care of 5 of my dogs over the past 10+ years and I totally trust them with my babies. They get to know each dog and his/her temperament and even special needs, and have cried with me over the loss of my dogs. I not only know that my dogs will be well-cared for when they are there, but I also know they will be well-loved. �
Out Harley girl LOVES it here. We board her while on vacation and she comes for day care occasionally. Those days of day care she comes home completely pooped. She crashes for the rest of the day and into the next. Thanks to all the wonderful care givers here.
My dog Willow has been staying at the Alaska Dog Wash, when I go on vacation, for 5 years now. They do so great with her. I don't have to worry at all because I know she isn't just being kept in a kennel the whole time like other places that do boarding. Willow gets to run and play with the other dogs all day until she is tired and can relax at night. I also really love that the Alaska Dog Wash posts pictures of the dogs playing on Facebook because I get to sneak peeks of my fur baby having a blast at day care. Thank you Ala... read more

We were on a long road trip, staying one night in Anchorage and our Labradoodle was in need of a bath and grooming. We were so grateful that we were able to get a last minute early morning appt., (on a Sunday) so we could leave town right after. The staff were friendly and courteous and made everything less stressful for us. We were so pleased with the results! Choco got his best trim ever! If you are looking for quality care for your pet, I highly recommend this place.
