Shared the 2-1/2 porterhouse with wife. Great choice. Fabulous steak and great service.
A little pricey but the best steak I have ever eaten. Potatoes had the right spice. Cream soda was delicious and service spot on!
Great atmosphere, excellent steaks. We went as a family of 5 and shared 2 steaks. Worked perfectly. Didn't care for the marinated salad. Will ask for ranch dressing next time; the biscuits are phenomenal.
Great food and the owner is top notch! My steak was just a little more than I wanted but it was still delicious. The owner offered to credit my meal. I said not necessary so he bought me a beer anyway. Great customer service!
My husband and I went for restaurant week. I was disappointed when my ribeye was half fat and tough. Our bill was over $100 for mediocre food. Drinks were good and service was excellent. People compare Doe's to Ruth Chris. I'll stick with Ruth Chris.
I wanted a really good T-Bone for my Birthday. The T-Bone was good. Was disappointed to find that you have to order a minimum of a 2 lb steak. I like a thinner, 1 lb steak. I shared the 2 lb with a friend. The boiled potatoes tasted like they were boiled in crab boil. I only want that taste when eating boiled crawfish, not steak. We ordered the tamales as an appetizer. They were awesome. Glad we went, so I can say I ate at Doe's. Won't ever go back for steaks. Would go back to try burger and for tamales.
When 2/3 of a 2 lb steak is pure unadulterated fat it's hard to give a good review. That was my husband's steak. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken. I've never tasted a bland Caesar dressing until now. However our waitress was friendly and attentive and we did like the atmosphere.
